The Surrogacy and Matching Process

Becoming a Surrogate

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Gestational Carrier with Compassionate Beginnings. Being a Gestational Carrier is a wonderful and miraculous gift and can complete a couples’ long-awaited dream of having a child to love. Compassionate Beginnings is dedicated to helping you understand the complete process while guiding you each step of the way. While the process of Surrogacy requires extreme commitment and can sometimes be challenging, it is a very rewarding experience.

The Process of Surrogacy

After the approval of the short screening application, you will need to complete the confidential online application as the first step in the surrogacy process. You will provide personal medical and family history, as well as why you would like to become a Gestational Carrier.

Once we have reviewed your application, we will personally meet with you. Compassionate Beginnings, LLC is dedicated to your well-being and complete knowledge of this process. Your care will be under the direct supervision of a Certified Reproductive Endocrinologist and the entire team of nurses, medical assistants, and personnel of the chosen center.

Once a pregnancy is confirmed, your care will be provided by a physician who specializes in Obstetrics specific to your needs.

Being Matched with Intended Parents

Once the above screening has been satisfactorily met, we will create a surrogacy profile including a picture and personal information for potential Intended Parents to review. Interested Intended Parents will notify us of their interest in you.

We will then provide you with information on the Intended Parents and arrange a personal meeting between both parties.

Once this match has been decided between you the Gestational Carrier and the Intended Parents, we will provide a list of qualified Family Attorneys to assist you the Gestational Carrier, and the Intended Parent (s) throughout the process.

Compassionate Beginnings is available throughout the initial process and the pregnancy to act as a liaison between you the Gestational Carrier and the Intended Parents.
